Word Salad is an analytical look at the way artists and designers react to the changes in technology and resources.
Through the times, explosions in technology have lead to rapid experimentation; and while these movements have received harsh scrutiny and criticism, their impacts have set the stage for trends to come.
Theory Pub
The theory section of Word Salad is an essay describing the connections between artists from the Futurist movement and the Postmodern movement.
Bios Pub
The biography section of Word Salad is a abstract of each of the artists mentioned within the theory section. It includes expository information, a synopsis of each artist's work, as well as a significant quote and a selection of notable works.
Extras
Included within the Word Salad project is two small extras. "Past Words for the Future" is F.T. Marinetti's 1909 Futurist Manifesto. "Future Faces from the Past" is a small book of typefaces that were landmark experiments in the world of typefaces.
